PNG is the format of screenshots, exported diagrams and many scanning apps. When you need to send, print or upload a set of them, one PDF is much easier to handle than ten separate images.
Step by step
- Open the tool. Go to pdfmerger.io/png-to-pdf.
- Add your images. Select several PNGs at once or drag them onto the page.
- Put them in order. Drag the images into the order the pages should have.
- Click "Convert to PDF". One PDF downloads, one image per page.
Quality
PNG is lossless, and the images are embedded at their original resolution without recompression, so text in screenshots stays sharp. Because nothing is compressed, a PDF made from large screenshots can be big; if a form has a size limit, run the result through Compress PDF.
Good uses
- Saving a chat, a receipt or a booking confirmation as one document.
- Combining exported slides or diagrams into a handout.
- Turning PNG scans from a phone app into a single file for an upload form.
Private by design
The PDF is built in your browser. Screenshots often show private messages and account details, and here they never leave your device.
Other image formats
Photos in JPG? Use JPG to PDF. iPhone photos in HEIC? Use HEIC to PDF. Need it the other way round? PDF to PNG turns each page into an image.
