PDFMerger.io provides browser-based PDF tools (merge, split, compress, rotate, convert, unlock, OCR, sign, and others). All file processing occurs locally in your browser. We do not receive, store, or have access to your files.

3. Permitted use

You agree to use this service only for lawful purposes and only for documents you are authorized to process. You must not:

• Process files that infringe third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service
• Use automated tools to generate excessive load on our infrastructure
• Circumvent any security or consent mechanisms

4. Intellectual property

The PDFMerger.io name, logo, and original website content are our intellectual property. The underlying open-source libraries used are governed by their respective licenses — see third-party-licenses.txt. You retain all rights to the files you process.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided as-is and as-available without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established.
